"Contacted Burr Oak Plumbing for a non emergency leaking kitchen sink and Peter was at our door in two days. Again, it was non emergency so we weren’t in a huge rush to have him out since he had other clients to handle. Anyways, once he was inside, we showed him the problem and he did a quick diagnosis and said the job would be $325 (including parts and labor). This price falls within the average cost to be expected by a professional plumber so it was reasonable and Peter began to work right away. During the process Peter was friendly, polite and maintained a pretty clean work area considering he’s doing nasty plumbing work in our kitchen. It became evident that there was a clog somewhere and that the sink was backing up and not properly draining. With that he, informed us the best remedy would be to rod the line. He informed us that he would do this for $167, a discount from the normal price since this was an unexpected issue. This price was definitely within the average cost to have a line rod by a professional plumber so we agreed and he did so right away. It was definitely evident there was a clog in the line by all the hair and junk pulled out from the line. Once he was done and ran the water again, the water began draining with no problems whatsoever. Peter was completely transparent with us on everything and he was a pleasure to have in our home. I would absolutely recommend him and in the near future I’ll need to hire him again for another faucet repair. (It’s an old home and these fixtures are corroded and best suited for a pro, not me). Thanks again, Peter!"
